• We set the whole production in a school (Ilkley Grammar School)because it is a public space and very quiet as the filming was being taken place during lessons.
• The first part was filmed from a corridor and stair case to create the atmosphere and genre as it is always quiet and this is what horror films are all about, making the audience feel tense waiting for something to happen.
• Then we chose to choose the stair case for the next few shots as it fitted in with the corridor because the corridor leads to the stair way. Again we filmed here because its a quiet place which relates to the chosen genre of the film. Also we were able to get some good shots from the top flight of stairs because we could look at the character run down each flight of stairs (high angle).
• Then at the last flight of stairs there is a door which leads outside of the building. We used outside of the door, but we only filmed one shot, but we used this particular type of setting because it was very quite and the character doesn't know where he is so its perfect because its a mystery why he is even stood outside, which creates a narrative enigma.
• We then used the sports hall. This is main part to our film because this really gives the viewer the an idea of the type of genre because its a large area and a dull dark setting (no lighting was used). This creates an atmosphere because there are only two characters in the hall so it seems as if they are in an isolated and venerable environment.
•We have been able to film extra clips which includes another location. The location we picked was a main road to begin our opening two minutes to make the story more understandable.
•We have filmed the 'Otley' countryside and town centre.
•We also filmed outside the 'Otley' Hospital to create the storyline showing specific signifiers such as an ambulance.
